Gil is a practicing Emergency Physician and an Associate Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine at Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA. He also serves as the Chief Medical Information Officer for Keck Medicine of USC, and was previously the Director of Clinical Informatics at Baylor. He has extensive experience in physician education and the implementation of EMR in various hospital systems. He is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Emergency medicine and the American Board of Preventative Medicine, in Clinical Informatics.
